Beginning September 10 2025,
Confirmation is a three-year
discipleship ministry
for our Middle School-aged youth.
The purpose of Confirmation:
-
To help our young people prepare themselves for a public affirmation of the faith into which they were baptized (confirmation of Baptism).
-
To prepare our young people to lead godly lives by following Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
“Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32-33).

COMMUNICATION
Communication will be via email and text messages. Please be sure your information is correct. If we contact your student regarding assignments or activities, you will always receive a copy to the address you provide us. We may also send text messages to parents with pertinent information – such as in the rare event we need to cancel a meeting, even though the school kept in session.
ABSENCES
Confirmation requires a high level of commitment that is also run with a high degree of grace. It is expected that all students attend AND participate in every event, but we also understand that life circumstances happen. If a student needs to miss, please contact the church office in advance to let us know.
SPRINGBROOK BIBLE CAMP
Recharge Retreat Weekend at Springbrook Bible Camp. Our Redeemer's confirmands will attend along with Confirmands from Light of Christ Lutheran (Williston), Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran (Sidney), and First Lutheran (Parshall) and Faith Lutheran (Columbus). This Recharge Retreat the Pastors will lead. The date is TBA but will take place between Christmas and Lent on a Friday evening and concluding Saturday afternoon.
