Weekly Preaching

Weekly Preaching

We preach through a three-year cycle that includes readings from the Old Testament, the New Testament Letters, and a passage from the Gospel. This practice comes from the early church and was inherited from the practice in the synagogue (Read about Jesus in the Synagogue reading a passage for that day - Luke 4:16-7). The three-year cycle helps to ensure that you are hearing from the whole word of God and not simply the pastor's favorite "gems" which may result in a lopsided emphasis.
